    • Consulting Intern
      • Oct 2021 - Jan 2022

Throughout my first semester of University, I have been a consultant to a fairly new startup, Hence Stacks. A company in the green super-food market. Throughout this period, my team and I have conducted detailed research on the marketing and financial possibilities of the business. This required the team being organised and in control as this was an extracurricular task. This meant my time management skills were enhanced as I balanced this consultancy with my final year of university. This consultancy work will hopefully mean that Luke, the owner and founder, can be more successful in the future, and subsequently build his brand Show less

I worked for Iceland/Food Warehouse for 2 months during the summer. My duties involved stock management and picking peoples online orders. I took responsibility for making sure stock was correctly presented in store and carried the vital task of locating people’s food and placing this in different crates for delivery. I successfully completed all my allocation each day without any problems helping Iceland deliver excellent service to their customers. • Sep 2019 - Feb 2020

I applied to the university to fulfil the role of Accommodation Ambassador to show new aspiring university students around my halls of residence. This involved waking up early and on time, projecting my voice and being comfortable leading and talking to up to 20 people at a time, answering questions from parents and students. This work had a direct influence on how the accommodation and students were perceived and on the number of students choosing my accommodation as a place to live the following year. Show less

I worked as a 16-year-old initially as a glass collector and then over time graduated to Barman in a busy pub/restaurant on numerous nights of the week and events. I had to take orders and fulfil them efficiently and accurately manner to clientele that expected high standards of service. Furthermore, the interaction with customers has helped me develop my customer service, communication and problem-solving skills. My work had a direct correlation to customer satisfaction, the number of people who would consider returning to the pub for another visit and to the business’ success and profitability. Show less
