Matt is one of the few vendors I work with that goes above and beyond the usual expectations. He continues to be an amazing source of information when it comes to telecom and is willing to go the extra mile to get things done. It is refreshing to find someone in a service industry that truly cares for the customers they serve.

We have worked with Matt on several projects over the past few years. What he brings to the IT industry is not the norm. You will see this difference by how he serves people, I remember a few years back, one of the first projects we worked on together Matt made the comment, "We want what we do here to be a good experience for the customer." That's who Matt is. That speaks of his character. Not just smart business but good ethics. Here are few qualities he brings to every project he is involved in: Customers time is valued, implementations are organized, thoroughness, aware of the impact on the customer during transitions, resolve technical issues with quick resolutions and always strives to make every experience to be a good customer experience.

    • Implementation Engineer
      • Mar 2012 - Apr 2019

As an Implementation Engineer I act as a liaison between Providers and Customers by sitting on the customers side of the table throughout an IT Service Delivery process. I have installed hundreds of instances of UCaaS, SD WAN, SIP, DIA, PRI, and MPLS with over seventy different providers. For many customers a combination of services from disparate providers is the best solution. Early in the sales cycle I perform a Site Survey to ensure we are not presenting solutions that are in search of problems. I create Visio's of current and future network typologies to ensure all stakeholders understand changes. My goal is always to present the best possible network environment for our customers based comparison of information discovered and the clients current and future needs. Frequently we can provide a better client experience while using existing infrastructure. During an Implementation I present an element of calm in a sea of chaos, supervising contractors and carrier technicians as they manipulate critical infrastructure. I work as an extension of client staff that has knowledge of carrier infrastructure, cabling, switching, routing and how they interact with equipment in a client LAN room. The Implementation Engineer position requires analytical thinking and the ability to act independently and decisively. I have regular exposure to every type of voice and data platform on the market, tying new cutting edge technologies into existing client topology. For existing customers I shift to IT Service Management, ensuring a clients end users are getting the service expected from IT service products delivered and installed. If end users are not adapting to new technologies I ensure additional training is addressed. If service issues arise I stop finger pointing by physically interrupting service at the carrier hand off, performing root cause analysis by testing both upstream and down. My ability to jump in the middle of a circuit results in greatly reduced outage times. Show less
