Key responsibilities of this position include:• Infrastructure / Architecture – This involves on-site consulting for the planning and implementation of distributed K2 installations based on client needs. Typically this would involve pre-engagement documentation being completed, basic planning for the installation including Kerberos considerations, the on-site visit where the core K2 software is installed and configured and concluding with post installation tasks. Post installation tasks would involve the completion of a “Post-Installation cookbook” describing how the K2 environment was set up.• Proof of Concept – This involves the development of Enterprise Workflow and Business Process management prototypes using K2 core technologies and features. This includes the design and deployment of the business process itself along with the basic development of forms for user interaction with processes. Form design can be performed in ASP.Net / C# using the K2 APIS or through Microsoft InfoPath.• Consulting – In this role, consultation is performed with clients to guide them with the implementation of K2 solutions. This can be either through on-site meetings or through the off-site design and testing of solutions.• Product Support – In the case of critical issues where online / telephonic support does not result in issues being resolved, on-site support for the resolution of these issues will be performed.• Process Design and Development – On occasion, K2 itself will be tasked to build end-to-end enterprise workflow solutions for a particular client to be handed over to a partner at a later point in time.
