I led a variable size team depending on the size and scope of the project to produce both 3D and 2D drawings for construction. Key Responsibilities: • Working closely with Project Engineers to set up the scope of work and to make sure all milestones and deliverables were met • Checking of drawings to make sure all the applicable standards were met and all information was correct • Have overview of all the different departments drawings to make sure all parts and processes are integrated • Produce both 2D drawings and 3D models and simulations for the projects • Mentor junior draftspeople to explain the processes and best standards required

Senior Draftsman

In charge of a team of 10 draftspeople working with senior Naval Architects to produce both 3D Models and 2D shop fit drawings for Austal Ships US Defence JHSV contract. Key Responsibilities: • Scheduling and assigning tasks • Ensuring all information to complete the tasks was clear and on schedule to allow targets and delivery dates to be met • Liaising with the US office to help co-ordinate information • Checking and issuing of drawings • Integrating different departments information into one model to performing clash detection and produce simulations as needed

Service Engineer

I started as a draftsman undertaking detail drawings and designs for masts and booms. In 2005 I was promoted to Service Engineer where I was responsible for designing and drawing modifications and upgrades to existing products. Key Responsibilities: • Co-ordinate designs with senior designers • Model the product and produce all drawings required for construction • Work with the customer to develop the required products and make sure that it was delivered on time. • Liaise with subcontractors and in house shop floor staff to complete all the varied components and then assemble and test the finished product
