Now in it's second phase, this great project showcases Barnsley's recognised good practice: Enterprising Barnsley and the DMC to a number of similar sized cities across Europe!   As a Marketing & Communications officer for Barnsley Council, I am part of the team responsible for the communication campaigns for a number of different projects the council are running, working closely with the directorates for People & Public health including lead communications for Fostering and Breathe 2025 During this time I lead on the marketing and communications for the 2019 Tour de Yorkshire in Barnsley. I played a key role in developing the #AlrightPal? campaign of suicide awareness in Barnsley from a small campaign to support WSPD to a project given a substantial budget and transferred to an annual campaign.
