I first met Matthew when he was hired by the Padres to sell season tickets. I was immediately impressed by his confidence, leadership, work ethic, and friendliness. When he started selling, he used those traits to be one of the best sales reps on the Padres. I worked on the Operations side at the time, so I would have to verify every sale the reps made. Matthew's attention to detail extended beyond getting the yes for the sale. He would work to make sure that all was perfect so that the new member would not have any issues with their payments, ticket fulfillment, contacting their new service reps thus ensuring their satisfaction for their season tickets.
