Samantha Weck

I've known Matthew his entire admission to Southern New Hampshire University. We worked together in Animation and Art Forms Club. Matthew is very dedicated and never shies away from a challenge. If he can manage planning a group field trip to a conference in Boston, he has the patience and tenacity to get the job done. He loves his field and is very passionate. He also takes his time to make sure he does the job right. He will never rush through a job or task. He believes in quality over quantity. You won't regret working with him.

    • Pathology Intern
      • Jun 2019 - Aug 2019

Worked on a project that aimed to relocate a Satellite Accumulation Area (SAA) within the pathology laboratory. From this I learned how to effectively communicate and present an issue to a department while being concise and professional. I also learned that putting some fun elements in your presentation can make all the difference in how it is received. This internship also included working on a variety of side projects (spreadsheets, word docs, etc), personal brand exercises, DISC training, Yellowbelt certification, and networking with fellow interns and coworkers. Overall, this was an an amazing experience that allowed me to grow my professional portfolio, while also experience personal growth. Show less

This was an internship that I completed over the summer. As part of this internship I was tasked with completing a research project on thyroid reference ranges for pregnant women. During this time my responsibilities included: Collecting and testing patient samples through machines (such as COBAS 6000), Organizing and analyzing data for the research project, completing side projects such as testing spinal fluid and urine samples, and working with heads of the chemistry department in order to help better and improve the research project. • Office Assistant
      • 2015 - 2016

I had worked this job through my senior year of high school, as well as the summer after. I left this job as a result of starting college, as I was living on campus and would not be able to travel between every day. During this job, I did various task and office work that was relating to the company. I worked in programs such as P260 and Excel. I was awarded a peer commendation during my time here, as well as assigned a special project to help the company. I greatly enjoyed my short time at this job. Show less
