My role was made up of a range of responsibilities all of which contributed to Wigan Warriors Youth Development Programme.Assistant Coach Wigan Warriors Under 19s: Working as part of a highly driven coaching team to ensure that the clubs young players fulfill their potential as individuals and as a group. We take players at 16 years of age and aim to guide them through the correct stages of development to prepare them for a career as a professional rugby league player which includes skills, attitudes and habits applicable to the game and to life in general.Managed the clubs Coach Education Programme: looking to upskill junior rugby coaches in the local community inline with the philosophies of the Wigan Warriors. This involved hosting seminars and workshops as well as visiting other clubs to present bespoke sessions catered around their demands.Co-ordinate the Wigan Warriors Junior Development Programme from Under 14s down and involved in the clubs talent identification processes.
