Within the Council's Cross River Partnership team, the key activities I led the FREVUE (Freight Electric Vehicles in Urban Europe) as well as the EVUE II (Electric Vehicles in Urban Europe) projects. Additional activities included new project development, implementation of multi-modal sustainable transport and logistic activity and air quality enhancement programmes. FREVUE is 4 1/2 year project, funded by the European Union's Framework Programme 7 with a total value of €14.2 million. Involving 30 public and private sector partners across eight countries, this project is demonstrating how electric vehicles can be successfully implemented in all aspects of urban logistics. EVUE II is the successor project to the Urbact funded Electric Vehicles in Urban Europe project involving five European cities developing and sharing new approaches to electric vehicle implementation. As project coordinator for both of these projects, my role encompassed internal and external stakeholder liaison and management, budgetary planning and management, output and outcome delivery and wider dissemination activities.
