Brazilian Soccer Schools (BSS) is one of the largest grassroots football training organisations in the world. We attribute our success and popularity with children to our structured approach to training and proprietary syllabus of 200+ individual core movements and skills. . We teach our players to initially focus on acquiring their individual all round technique and mastery of the ball. As they mature mentally and physically, their training will start to incorporate tactics as well as the physical and mental chapters of our training programme. We have never bought into the myth of natural talent or overnight success, what we do believe in is hard work, perseverance and practice. Our philosophy is that through an increased number of training hours involving constant repetition players can refine and improve their skills in all areas of the game.

For 2 years in Hawaii I was the director of summer camps around Oahu. I was also involved in a large mentoring scheme working with AYSO coaches on different islands including Maui, Hawaii Island, and Kauai. In this position I was involved in developing interest in the company from external clubs through the work I executed which has created an increase in the brand profile and increased profits and future prospects for the company.

My initial role at the club was managing and coaching the 4th team. This was everything from organising training sessions, developing training programmes to improve the team technically and physically. I was responsible for organising fixtures, choosing squads and charged with motivating the team on match day, giving half time team talks in relation to the progression of the game. During my time there we to successfully won the league. In my second season I was promoted to second team coach in the NW University league. My role was to develop training sessions in relation to previous game performance, create fitness programmes for the season, aiding the manager with squad decisions, providing tactical input on game days and perform warm up and cool down routines for players. I was particularly proud of developing a style of leadership with the team that relates to my coaching philosophy, the team finished third in the league.
