The Kaitiaki unit of the Ngati Manuhiri Settlement Trust were tasked with protecting and enhancing the taiao and wahi tapu sites within the rohe. As the Technical Officer I led the trusts' RMA work, visiting sites and ascertaining the ecological impacts of proposed developments. Along with Kaumatua I wrote Cultural Values Assessments and Cultural Impact Assessments for these RMA applications.
