Matthew is the rare trio of creative, functional, and personable, making him an asset to any team that needs someone who can create and strategize with equal deftness. I often jokingly tell colleagues I’m not sure how I functioned before I worked with Matthew. It’s something of an exaggeration, but it’s not entirely untrue. I credit Matthew with helping me grow creatively very quickly when we were working in a particularly fast-paced environment together. His level-headed and focused approach to his work pairs quite well with a truly gifted creative mind. Even though we don’t work together directly anymore, I still consult Matthew frequently on projects any time I can because I value his perspective more than most. He is always eager to help, offers excellent feedback, and provides innovative solutions. He’s also incredibly easy to get along with, as he’s both authentic and authentically interested in what others have to offer. He’s a dream to collaborate with, and he’s incredibly talented. I genuinely can’t thank Matthew enough for sharing his professionalism and talent with me.

I sincerely cannot say enough kind things about Matthew. In the short time we worked together at Dalton State, he was welcoming and full of excitement and ideas. I was even more impressed with him later on when I found out he still had the energy and work ethic despite serving in multiple roles with Residence Life. Matthew and I bonded over a student trip to a programming conference, and it was there I realized how sincere he was and how intentional he was to create more student programming at Dalton State. He is easy to collaborate with and always follows up and checks in. I would love to have the opportunity to work with Matthew in the future.
