I joined the company for a fresh new start as I wanted a new career change from the hospitality industry. My main task was to support 700 airlines in their AOG (Aircraft On Ground) situations and supply whichever parts needed to get the there plane back in the air. My work was mostly through emails and calls to support all over the world at any time needed. To locate request through the AJW internal stock system to investigate any additional information to support the airlines e.g alternates parts which they can use to supply all information to them including all certification, part history Quote parts that were required. Look into a major vendor for parts if needed e.g airbus, Boeing, Satair Process purchase orders and arrange stock for shipment. Communicate with logistic team to arrange shipments on parts Associate, Show less

I join the company as a kitchen associate while my main tasks were to cook all food within 10 mins while keeping high kitchen standards at all times. While being in the kitchen I was promoted to a team leader while I was giving tasks to supervise the kitchen staff while the kitchen manager was off. When the kitchen manager left I was promoted to a shift leader which I was left to manage. My tasks consisted of; Rotas (making sure having enough staff on when needed while keeping to the giving hours allowance) Stocks control Food Ordering Cash handling and cash control. Beer ordering Hours control While working on the bar I was promoted to a shift manager. During my time as a shift manager, I completed several training courses which enabled me to look at the pub's finances and setup promotions to bring in new business and increase profit margins. You need to use your initiative to create these promotions and often you need to think quickly to ensure opportunities are not missed. Encourage staff to complete their mandatory training to ensure we as a franchise are compliant with JDWeatherspoons policies and procedures. Recruitment, I dealt with hiring and firing of staff throughout the pub, including Kitchen and Bar Staff. Show less

I worked as the baker and my main job was serving and also cooking all the pasty for the day. I was promoted to team leader and was given a set off-key to the shop. From there on I was in a change in opening the shop. Setting up the tills for the day and the normal tasks I was given through out the day. I learned many skills while working there.
