Independently researching & developing new systems for the Automotive Industry with an emphasis on lowering the unit cost of Motor Control and Motor Designs for use in heavy duty vehicles. Responsible for all aspects of the project, which involves the redesign of a ‘Senseless BLDC Motor Controller’ & a ‘BLDC Motor’, from the concept through to production, including the project planning, budget & component supply management. The project is run in partnership with numinous entities: AVID Technology, Newcastle University & OPSOL UK, for which I am the main link. Throughout the project I have prepared detailed progress and technical reports, and delivered presentations on all aspects of the project both for management and board level, and potential customers I have had numerous meetings with suppliers to resolve financial issues and with customers to give project updates and address any customer concerns.
