Mr. Klepp is a pleasure to work with and he embodies everything that is needed to organize, manage, build, develop, design and support a product within latest instances of saas/cloud architectures. He is clearly a tech leader and will only add value and competency to any organization, no matter the role.

A true collaborator, team member, and genuinely easy to work with. He understands deep complexity and is able to successfully parse it into manageable portions, putting everything exactly where it needs to be in order to move it forward, lifting the important bits exactly where they need to go at the right time. Matt is a natural leader, and having worked with him on multiple challenging, time-sensitive projects I can attest to his abilities. He's comfortable under pressure, and gets the job done. He contributes meaningfully to the success of projects and I highly recommend him.

I manage a large team of Engineers whose mission it is to develop software utilizing the Biometric Platform at ImageWare. With multiple, globally dispersed offices and engineering resources joined as a single team, I drove the development of biometric identity management products, platforms and solutions. I played an integral, strategic role supporting this company’s transition from a focus on software licenses to a service model. The applications I spearheaded and managed run on Linux, iOs, Android, Windows, and MacOS. Our current main product under development is GVID Enterprise Suite. Our Face Matching, Anti-Spoofing, and Identification, is the leader in the industry. Products Developed Under my Leadership -Windows Active Directory Integration - Windows Credential Provider - macOS Authentication Provider - Linux PAM version (CentOS6/7, Amazon Linux Enterprise, Red Hat Enterprise, etc.) - Other authentication server/client integrations Leading with a Vision for Evolving Development Practices As one of the founders of ImageWare's CICD/DevOps initiatives, I am an active participant in its continued growth and success. I encourage and demand all team members (dev, QA, etc.) to be proactive in all DevOps processes to drive adoption. I lead my team by example by participating and actively utilizing our DevOps processes with our tools: Jenkins, AWS, EKS, Kubernetes, VirtualBox, HyperV, etc. My passion is working with the core developers using JIRA to plan and organize development and bug fixes for key projects including the Installers, GVID Enterprise, QuickApps and the containerized back-end web services which support them. I have the ability to work with limited resources to deliver increased results. It's important to have flexibility and rapidly adjust to new projects, requirements, delivery dates, and more. My ability to adapt to a continuously, rapidly changing environment helps make me to be a good manager and leader. Show less

US Software Support Manager •Managed a team of Software Engineers to support, Intel, Global Foundries, and other US Semi and Solar customers. • Customer advocate and interface for system and software specifications. •Implement systems and provide operator training. •Collected and analyzed process data presented to customer to sell our software services. •Achieve documented cost savings by applying technology to improve the business in a cost effective manner. •Excellent skill level in control systems (like Allen-Bradley/Beckoff/B and R/other), “C”, Microsoft SQL, PLC, and SCADA systems. •Good communication skills and the ability to articulate and explain ideas in both technical and non-technical terms. This is my strong suit. •Defined control system specifications of our Integrated System Major Customers (Intel, and Global Foundries, and Samsung) •Managed and performed test engineering for a large software development team. Defined testing procedures, documented and performed automated testing of our software products. •Agile and Scrum proficient. My goal was to transform the teams to use the Agile process. We were in the process transforming how the team thought about the process. We implement large parts of the process to our everyday routine. It worked with Intel. I owned the customer requirements side feeding them to the developers (Scrum Product Owner). Grew the business substantially because of it. •Implemented a new Change Request/ Issue Tracking (Axosoft / JIRA) and Version Control System (GIT and SVN) that will be implemented across 3 software teams. •Managed, Created, and deployed Software Images and Virtual Machines for deployment and testing. VM’s: VM Ware, HyperV, and VirtualBox. Imaging:Acronis and EaseUS •Implemented AWS (Amazon Web Services) cloud machine for Demo’s and Testing. Show less
