      During this four week program I undertook two rotations in Office Agency and Property Management. Within the Office Agency team, I was introduced to a variety of different sites which the company dealt with from brand new Cat A floorplates to Grade I listed buildings. During this time, I familiarised myself with both CoStar and VTS, both of which I used to complete the work I was set. I also worked with the Capital Markets team on the same floor and assisted in updating the deals sheets for 2018/19 and calculating Capital Values and determining the WAULT for a particular site. Within the Property Management team I focused specifically on the management of Shopping Centres and was involved in multiple different regeneration projects. I familiarised myself with the layout and terminology of leases and liaised with clients with regards to queries and breaches of said leases. The Intern's were divided into two groups at the start of the four weeks and set the task of presenting our advice to a hypothetical client on how to develop a multi-purpose site. This enabled me to learn from other interns who had rotated in different sectors such as planning, rating and valuation. This four week project helped me reflect on what I had learnt in my rotation when relaying this information to my group and it helped to understand the workings of multiple departments within such a project.       I secured two summer internships in 2017 (3 weeks) and 2018 (2 months) with the Savills Central and East London team in their residential development consultancy and agency sections as well as their capital markets team. Working on high profile schemes such as One Park Drive, Landmark Place, Westferry Printworks and others during this time, I undertook numerous comparable exercises on residential sales values which were then used to advise clients and feed into their development appraisals. In addition, I also completed comparable exercises on product and amenity provision within the schemes which was used to develop the design further and establish pricing strategies. Show less
