- Lead author and researcher for my Honors Thesis research: conducting research on the impact of the Mindfulness Meditation DeCal (student-led class at UC Berkeley): My project explains the benefits of participating in the DeCal and examines whether the amount of meditation practiced over the semester has a positive correlation with the mood, attitude and behavior of the students before and after taking the class.

- Contributing author of a joint paper – ‘Seeds of Change’, which investigates the impact of the Mindfulness & Meditation DeCal: This project applies quantitative assessments through surveys and qualitative assessments collected from reflection assignments and interviews that are assessed using Natural Language Processing (NLP).

- Formulated research questions for the group to potentially work on over the year while exploring background meditation literature.

- Engaged in data cleaning and data visualizations using Excel and R.

- Drafted and edit follow-up interview questions, consent forms, IRB proposals for funding.
