Worked with lawyers and policy experts in the governance and climate change teams to encourage involvement of finance ministers in climate change policy. I analysed every country’s submitted Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) in order to generate evidence for the team lead to present at COP25. Worked to increase involvement of finance ministers in climate negotiations, and increase the financial commitments written in NDCs. This resulted in more countries committing to the Helsinki Principles on climate change finance. I drafted multiple grant proposals to address the human rights implications of climate change governance, which the governance directorate used to fund projects in this area. Show less
