During one of his rotations, Matt worked within my team leading the Capacity Planning activities for Component Test on the Flash business within Western Digital. Matt is a very self-driven, passionate and highly motivated candidate with excellent analytical skills to solve complex problems. Within few months into the role, Matt was able to completely revamp and create a more intuitive capacity model within the Western Digital’s APS system. This greatly helped the entire global planning organization to better understand the capacity constraints within the supply chain and work more effectively in resolving the same. In a short while Matt gathered the functional requirements of the projects by interviewing the key stakeholders. He also understood how translate the functional requirements of customer to system requirements. He then went on to build a cool capacity planning tool in MS access. During the project Matt gained solid understanding of IE concepts and project management skills. Matt is innovative and hardworking. His knowledge of access coding is pretty good.
