  Responsibilities-Provide 2D/3D seismic interpretation, integrating large multi-disciplinary datasets, to be used in processing projects and to identify prospectivity of numerous basins within the EAME region, with particular focus on North West Europe.-Complete frontier basin reviews within New Ventures, assessing prospectivity & identifying potential new business opportunities for the CGG. Studies are on a wide range of scales, from basin to block and includes play fairway mapping, prospect generation & risking. Recent key areas reviewed include: Mauritania, Sudan, Eritrea, Somalia, Iran, Egypt-Support for license round applications (particularly UKCS), prospect analysis, volumetrics and risking to apply for offshore acreage for farm-out opportunities and equity deals.-Provide geological support, in a client-facing role, attending numerous sales and client meetings to support business development and sales.Skills-Strong 2D/3D seismic interpretation skills (including broadband seismic) using various industry software packages. Key interpretation projects covering complex salt basins and passive margin settings primarily on the UKCS, West Africa & Ireland regions-Quantitative interpretation and AVO, with particular focus on the Palaeocene of the Central Graben, completing a relative seismic inversion of CGG’s entire 36000km Central North Sea data-Frequency decomposition of CGG’s Angola datasets in order to identify possible stratigraphic prospects within Miocene turbidite sequences-Strong understanding of 2D and 3D seismic acquisition, processing & technologies such as velocity model building, FWI, migration, demultiple and deghosting-Developed strong ArcGIS skills generating numerous maps for legal supplements, new survey design and play fairway mapping-Presentations and Publications at a variety of industry conferences to present key project findings and promote CGG’s multi-client data.

  Responsibilities-Responsible for providing geophysical and geological interpretation of CGG’s Multi Client seismic and existing well data.-Use knowledge and expertise to enhance the market value of CGG's Multi-Client library, by completing work station interpretations and geological reports.-Responsible for integrating external geological data, completing stratigraphic mapping together with depth conversion, prospect mapping, volumetric calculations and risk analysis.-Support license applications to be made for exploration acreage and increase the value of licensed blocks to promote the acreage for drilling programmes.-Provision of geological support to marketing operations and business development, in addition to internal geological consulting to assist with Multi-Client Library survey planning and processing.Skills-Strong 2D/3D seismic interpretation skills (including broadband seismic) using various industry software packages.-Presentations at industry conferences to promote CGG’s multi-client data.-Client facing role, attending client meetings and industry conferences, identifying client needs and identifying new business opportunities

  Responsibilities-Provide an overall assessment of the unconventional resource potential of the Carboniferous in the onshore Cleveland, Stainmore & Northumberland-Solway Basins and proximal offshore areas as part of my MSc thesis-Utilising the skills applied during my MSc, working within the New Ventures exploration team to assess the presence, thickness, quality and maturity of Carboniferous shales, coals and tight sands which may provide the targets for exploration-Present findings to peer review board & senior management and provide recommendations Skills-Sedimentological and petrophysical well log analysis of a full suite of digital well logs, well correlations and facies interpretation-Basin Modelling using PetroMod software. Construction of 1D basin models at each of the well locations & construction of a 2D basin model in the Cleveland Basin to assess burial history and source maturity-Spatial play fairway analysis, CRS mapping, risking & volumetrics-2D seismic interpretation of UKOGL seismic lines
