  As a part of the brand new Creative Musicianship courses run by Edinburgh Napier University, I have been teaching guitar, composition, ensemble skills and sound production skills. Aimed at secondary school students aged 15-18, the course rethinks the current model of music education, giving more creative agency to the students. It is my role to prepare and deliver lessons to the students, assuring that they are engaging, challenging and flexible for their range of skills. Lessons range from 1-1 guitar lessons, in which I dynamically adapt the lessons to each student's abilities, to ensemble classes that encourage creative discussion and opportunities for insights into the creative process. I frequently carry out the classes online and I utilise a range of creative software, including Photoshop, Logic Pro, and PowerPoint to improve the teaching experience. Show less
