At Focalpoint I worked as a commercial and advertising photographer, contributing to the reputation of the business by assisting with and producing quality imagery. I was involved in undertaking and managing my own photo and video shoots, defining themes and concepts, creative input and ensuring brand continuity. Other responsibilities and duties included image editing and retouching, assisting in setting up and arranging subject matter, set design and construction, lighting, additional assistance in preparing materials for scene creation, propping, maintenance and repair of photographic and lighting equipment, and ensuring cleanliness of the studio. Using excellent communication skills I developed and maintained successful working relationships with clients. I took it upon myself to start and manage the social media presence of Focalpoint and write content for website and annual newsletters sent out to clients.
