In May 2018 I helped create our Software Services Operational Unit in Lafayette. We are a unit dedicated to providing custom full-stack software solutions for our customer's business needs. I have never done anything more challenging, nor have I grown so much, since starting in this role as a unit lead. It is very rewarding for me to work along side people I love helping customers to be successful while holding ourselves accountable to high character standards. Avanade is a consulting company jointly owned by Accenture and Microsoft. Essentially a large Microsoft product consulting firm. I got the opportunity to work for the same consulting company as my twin brother, Jason, and couldn't pass it up! While working there I worked in the collaboration services branch, specifically SharePoint. I grew much more as a problem solver and developer while working here, not to mention getting more experience working with large enterprise customers. After one fall and two summer internships, I graduated college to work full time as a developer for State Farm Insurance at their Corporate South headquarters. I worked on a small team responsible for building the framework behind StateFarm.com. I grew a lot while working there and it will never stop making a difference on who I am still growing into.
