I had the privilege of having Matt work for me for 5 years at TrimQuest and 4 years at Johnson Controls. During that time Matt and his team were responsible for delivering several critical and complicated launches each year as well as generating hundreds of thousands to millions of dollars yearly in internal cost reductions. In addition Matt and his team helped our customers save millions annually. Matt is an excellent engineer and a strong leader who always delivers on time and on budget. Matt's vision, planning and execution skills were very valuable. He practiced sound judgment and could always be trusted to do things right and follow all necessary steps. Matt is very systematic and organized. Likewise he is methodical in his approach with root cause, data driven problem solving. Matt maintained good productive relationships with his team, peers, suppliers and customers. Matt strives for greatness and empowers the same with his team. Matt was a key player in our success and I am certain he will continue to do an excellent job in his career.

Matt did an awesome job for TrimQuest (a Tier 1 automotive supplier). As our Continuous Improvement Manager, Matt battled for every dollar. He led a cross functional team to drive improvements resulting in hundreds of thousands of dollars in savings every year. Matt also supported continuous improvement initiatives that helped to make our customers more successful letting us be seen as a preferred supplier. One thing I particularly liked about matt was his ability to make data driven decisions and provide detailed support for positive change. Matt also did a fantastic job in his launch role during a very busy time of product launches. His advance planning led to smooth changes. He did a great job managing timelines, customers, suppliers, etc. I think any company would be lucky to have Matt on their team.
