      For two summers I was part of building houses for the poor in the mountain town and tribes of Nicaragua. During my time there I helped build houses out of cinder block. While I was down there, I interacted with the local people to build relationships for future years to come. I found great joy in being able to give back to those that very little. I was able to experience another culture and learn how others communicate as well as interact between statuses. During my two summers there, I learned the importance of valuing what I have and how hard work can go a long way. Show less
