Food for the Sole is a backpacking meal company that was started in Bend, Oregon. All meals are vegan and gluten free, and all meals are prepared, cooked, dehydrated and packaged by a small team. Work with a small team (2-3 people) to prepare, cook, and dehydrate meals. Package approximately 160 bags of dehydrated meals a day. Take inventory of all kitchen ingredients weekly. Sparrow Bakery is a well-known bakery in Bend, most known for their creation of the 'Ocean Roll' which is a cardamom and vanilla croissant. I was the baker of all wholesale breads including Pan Miche, Pan Jewish Rye, Artisan Sourdough, and Brioche rolls. Shape and bake up to 400 brioche rolls per day. Shape and bake all wholesale loafs. Bag, package, and sort all baked breads for delivery. Occasionally make deliveries.
