In my previous position I was responsible for the company CRM system and analyzing business processes to make cost savings where applicable. A key project I am involved in currently is migrating a CRM database formed using MySQL from one CRM system to another this involves Data validation, Data cleansing and Data mapping. I have also worked on a number of key project initiatives throughout the organization such as evaluating and then implementing Certify a business expenses management system in order to make savings for the finance department. All my projects are managed using a mixture DSDM agile and traditional waterfall practices. I’ve also introduced JIRA project management tool to ROSPA to help increase transparency of project workload to senior management. During the COVID-19 crisis I was responsible for researching document collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams and Webex so the organization was able to move from being office based to home-based. Other key reasonability’s I had are facilitating agile meetings to gather requirements, facilitating daily stand-ups, creating a business case, assessing and mitigating project risk, managing different teams’ workload using prioritization techniques and completing gap analysis. In my position at Warwick University I was instrumental in installing and maintaining SCRUM throughout a University subsidiary company called Warwick Employment Group. We installed the SCRUM methodology due to it being most suitable option for building a complex software product named WEG Recruitment Software. The software was designed to be a CRM system specifically for the education sector in the industry of recruitment. Here my responsibilities were being servant -leader for the Scrum team and to maximize the value created by the Scrum Team. I typically served the scrum team by ensuring that the goals, scope, and product domain are understood by everyone in the team. Helping the scrum team understand the need for clear Product Backlog items. Ensuring the Product Owner knows how to order the backlog to maximize value and facilitating scrum events as needed. I also worked at scale coaching two development teams in self organization and cross functionality. I removed any impediments created by the organization outside of the scrum team itself. I was effective at applying Scrum across the organization increasing its performance within the organization and ultimately the products value. In addition to the above paragraph I would join the development team when requested and break down epics into user stories with acceptance criteria. I would facilitate an increment of functionality right from the code development to UAT to meet the definition of ‘done’. Show less
