Liebs is one of the smartest, most reliable people I’ve ever worked with. He brings a wide breadth of knowledge and experience, and over the 2+ years we worked together he was my go-to for help both in and outside his role. Despite being in different time zones, he was always ready to help 1-on-1 over Slack or a live call. Matt managed a huge global creative network and was pivotal to the success of project managers and producers like me. He offered support from several angles—from production details like pricing and timelines, to creative guidance, staffing recommendations and so much more. I always felt like I was in good hands with Matt and I knew above all else that he cared about his people—both the global PM team and the hundreds of freelance artists in the VidMob network. He was the glue that held us all together and I never once ran into an issue that Matt didn’t already have a solution for. On top of that, Liebs has an incredible attention to detail that cannot be understated. His quality assurance is impeccable and it’s apparent in everything he does—from creative problem solving to infusing analytics, developing new processes, leading trainings, and pushing our product to new heights. Matt is always looking for ways to innovate and can succinctly capture and deliver it all in a way that makes sense across all departments. He truly is a jack of all trades and someone who so clearly ‘gets it’. Any team would be so lucky to have Matt! Not only is he well equipped with all the professional skills, but he’s also just a funny, down-to-earth, and all-around solid guy. Everyone loves him and his contributions to VidMob’s culture and brand cannot be measured.

Over the 5+ years I've known Matt, he's worked on my team across several functions, easily transitioning between production, creative, and operations. He's a gifted problem solver that intuitively finds and fills any gaps. Matt was always able to pinpoint creative issues, and I've watched him grow to be able to solve them himself, too. Along with his great execution skills, he has also found valuable insights that have informed leadership decision-making. His ability to operationalize creative solutions is top notch. A rare skill to have that would make any team lucky to have him!

I worked on a variety of student sets during my time at Northwestern. I was the director of photography on two Media Arts Grant short films: "Something's Wrong With Cameron" (accepted to two film festivals so far) and "All Hallows" (still in the editing process). I also shot sketches for Northwestern Sketch Television and Northwestern's first variety show, The Blackout. Attached here is my reel.
