Worked with a team of high level phytoremediation scientists where we successfully remediated soil at sites across Canada. Sites were mainly remediated of petroleum hydrocarbons (PHC) and salt. Valuable experience was gained in field sampling and environmental site monitoring, soil and vegetation sample collection and analysis, and client report writing. Isolated and tested new plant growth promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR) for increased efficiency in our phytoremediation system. Experiments were designed and carried out in laboratory and greenhouse environments. Designed and performed lab, greenhouse, and field trials for proof of concept research in an effort to created a commercialized PGPR based product. Show less
