The company carries out ground engineering, ground works and construction and maintenance of aqueducts and sewers. I was responsible for assist Project Managers in ensuring quality control of public projects by traveling to job sites for inspections. The Client was the Rome City Council and I was in charge to participate in meetings with the stakeholders. My role was also to create the work teams and monitor their equipment and materials in relation to the work to be carried out. The teams had to be chosen carefully because they were often working in confined spaces or at high risk for the health of workers.In parallel to this project I have participated in several projects concerning soil works, mini piling, slope drainages and retaining walls.I was in charge to evaluate offers from various suppliers and choose the most convenient.In general, I participated in perform the preliminary planning of the project to the final stages ensuring HSQE standards.
