  During 2022, I performed an internship in the Research & Development team at Toyota Motor Europe. The aim of this my work in TME was to develop a controller powered by Reinforcement Learning capable of outperforming the controller used by the company. In particular, a Reinforcement Learning agent was trained to control the system while achieving some Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Those KPIs were identified by myself through Data Analysis over a dataset containing real-world samples. As part of my job, I proved that achieving those KPIs guarantees proper control of the system. Technical details: - MATLAB and Simulink: A model of the system was adapted for training the agent. - Python, pandas and matplotlib were used for the Data Analysis. - Different agents were trained and compared (Ex. PPO, SAC, etc..). Parallelisation was implemented to speed up the training. - Neural Networks were trained to achieve the best results. Show less

  During my university, I worked as full-stack developer. Those are some projects I worked on: 1. Restaurant Dalla Gioconda (6/2020 - 9/2020) The restaurant needed software capable of - Helping them with the inventory management - Contacting automatically the suppliers when the quantity of an ingredient is low - Connecting to the register for updating the inventory quantities - Generate a summary of all the selling and purchasing - Being usable from different devices I developed a web application based on a 3 tier architecture: Client, Backend and Database ▪ Client developed with React, JSX, JS, TypeScript, bootstrap, HTML e CSS ▪ Backend developed with NodeJs, Typescript e ExpressJs ▪ Database developed with MongoDB The output of this project became my bachelor thesis. 2. The association used to organize events focusing on the fashion world.   At Ren Solution S.r.l, I worked on a project whose objective was to develop an internal a web platform capable of: - Replacing all the third parties softwares with a single one owned and developed by the company. - Digitalising and simplifying the tasks that were not digitalised yet. - Design a user interface capable of speed up all those processes. Here some example of those functionalities: 1. A web page capable of helping the managers in analysing the current state of every task was developed ad hoc for the company. This page offered different functionalities such as the visualisation of the working hours for every task with charts and other visualisation tool, whoever was working on that task, moving people from one task to the other, etc... 2. A web page allowing the employee to sign their daily activities in "Google Calendar" style form. 3. Automatically integrate legacy data into a newly developed database. This database would be used to pave the way to more advanced features. Technical details The software required to be run through web interface.
