      • Developed firmware written in C++ for STM32 microcontrollers based on ARM Cortex-M4 processors, with the aim of controlling electrical actuators and reading sensors signals; I also designed Electron-based GUI for the hardware setup.• I wrote the software for controlling a 6DOF manipulator for vertebroplasty operations, with an in-depth kinematics study.• Developed an open-source Python library for the industrial CANOpen CiA 402 profile for electric motor actuation.• Implemented orientation estimation algorithms for inertial measurement units (IMU). • Internship
      • Jul 2019 - Sep 2019

I had the opportunity to learn about ALTAIR Lab. during my internship experience, in which I was tasked with creating a graphical user interface for the control software of an upper limb exoskeleton. The use of this software drastically reduced the time required for calibration and acquisition of data needed for research. The interface was written following the MVC paradigm with the Qt framework. I used both C++ and Python for the development and interfacing between the application and ROS. Show less

I contributed to the writing of the C# code of a simulator of the Comau e.Do robot made in Unity, with particular attention and study on the kinematics of the manipulator. This software was used as material for summer orientation and soft skills courses dedicated to high school students, to whom I actively offered support.
