  To manage the operations for the charity with particular focus on strategically leading and managing patient and family support services, fundraising, marketing and communications, and operational team functions within the charity. Working with a multi-disciplinary team, I have responsibility for ensuring high standards of services to both patients and their loved ones.   Responsible for Weldmar's large scale fundraising events including the Ladies Midnight Walk, Summer and Christmas Fete's and Strictly Ballroom, playing a key role supporting our reactive fundraisers including the London Marathon runners, Skydivers, Cyclists and much more. Successfully launched and delivered a number of overseas challenges to our portfolio of events.

  As a Community Fundraiser I was responsible for supporting members of the local community who actively fundraised or organised events in aid of Weldmar. This included supporting them and guiding them with planning an event, running an event and post event tasks. I also worked with local community groups including the W.I, Lions and Rotary to build our brand awareness and increase financial support across Dorset.

  Responsible for planning, preparing, cooking and serving restaurant quality food for people who were unable to go to restaurants whilst catering for a number of patients with specific dietary requirements. I worked closely with both the patients and medical staff. I also worked as the Nutritional Lead ensuring that we could cater for the numerous, and sometimes complex, diets working in collaboration with my medical colleagues and therapists.
