  Macom is a small company, ISO 9001 accredited, based in Hillington Glasgow. The Company designs and manufactures wear debris sensors that monitor metal particulate in a machine’s lubricating oil. The sensors are used extensively within the renewables industry in particular wind turbines. My role as Product Design Engineer was to provide mechanical and product design input for new and existing products. Provide drawing office support for new and existing engineering drawings. • Project Manager for the E750 timeswitch project reporting directly to the senior management team. • Team leader for the introduction of a new site part number system reporting to senior management. • Set up the pilot Internet access point and bulletin board for the engineering department.
