  After 8 years at GoMedia Services Ltd it is finally time for me to say good bye. I, and my co-founders Egor Ermakov David Thompson and Simon Dore set up GoMedia in 2015 with the intention of becoming the leader in providing digital solutions on public transportation, and I am pleased to say that we achieved our aim. I, and my co-founders Egor Ermakov David Thompson and Simon Dore set up GoMedia in 2015 with the intention of becoming the leader in providing digital solutions on public transportation, and I am pleased to say that we achieved our aim. We launched solutions first on UK fleets, and then on fleets in the USA, Canada, Australia, across mainland Europe and even in Japan. We were honoured and excited when Icomera, themselves world leaders in providing connectivity solutions to transport operators, acquired GoMedia in 2020. It has been a privilege to work with Magnus Friberg and his team at Icomera and to see how they offer business critical solutions to operators across the globe. Icomera are an inspirational company and I look forward to seeing how they continue to expand as part of the Equans France group. In my time GoMedia I have seen at first hand the immense challenges that those working in public transportation face. I have met many operators and have been impressed by their unwavering professionalism even in times of immense stress (e.g. the covid pandemic). Taking a company from an idea and a blank piece of paper to a successful sale and an integration with a multi-national company has been one of the biggest challenges of my career. I, and my team, have taken immense pride in what we have achieved, and I am looking forward to taking the many learnings I have made into future roles.
