I’ve had the pleasure of reporting to Matt for just under two years. He is an authentic and dynamic leader full of creativity and gusto for what he does. As a Marketing professional, Matt has a passion for branding and is result driven. He is always eager to take on a new project without letting a ball drop. He brings years of valuable Marketing experience to the table and there never ceases to be a project he can’t crack. He can take a brainstorming session and bring it to life into a dialed Marketing campaign. As a leader, he is strategic and deliberate in all he does keeping goals front and center for himself and the entirety of his team. He has developed a level of organization for his team that’s unparalleled and challenges us to constantly push ourselves to to reach our fullest potential. His aptitude for developing efficiencies is contagious and his eagerness to constantly think of others is inspiring. I feel fortunate to have been able to work with Matt and could not ask for a better leader.

Matt is a shining example of humility. He shines as a leader by being able to take others’ ideas, blending them with his, and creating actionable game plans to turn concepts into reality. Matt finds ways to bring in different team member perspectives and ideas and churn out the best results possible. He does this with one of with one of the most professional demeanors I have ever witnessed. I have seen Matt grow as a person and leader, both knowing when to lead and when to follow someone else’s lead. He has become a proponent of innovation in a style that is all his own; appreciating and welcoming new concepts and tactics while adding a level of organization that is quintessential Matt. Our work styles are different, but that never stopped us from creating great work that generating both brand and sales value for our company. I can honestly say we have both learned from one another during our time and Whole Foods Market and I am thankful I have had the opportunity to work with him. He has taught me how to turn my big ideas into real successes through next level organization.
