      I look up Certified Material test reports and check them against the appropriate standard to assure that everything is within spec. I do Positive Material Identification (PMI) on a variety of materials. I also to hardness readings on the Rockwell B scale and C scale with various instruments. I am also a level II Dye Penetrant quality inspector. I deal with 3rd party inspectors on big project orders I also do the Certificates of Conformances for parts we are shipping out along with other quality documents.
