Chance to Shine is national charity on a mission to spread the power of cricket throughout schools and communities. I coordinate the Chance to Shine cricket for Northamptonshire, contacting schools to organise 6 weeks of cricket during the summer. I will also deliver whole school assemblies to introduce to programme to the school.

All Stars Cricket Programme (Voluntary)

I'm currently helping with the new All Stars Cricket programme which is ran through the ECB (English and Wales Cricket Board). This is to encourage children from ages 5 to 8 get involved with the sport but also provide fundamental skills children use to play. We're currently planning taster sessions to roll out to primary schools in Northamptonshire. Each school will then be linked to a Cricket Club based on its location. The most challenging part of the programme is how the children take this home to their parents and whether they sign up online. Each local club will have their own All Star Activator, it will be our role to ensure everything is in place as required. Please see the link attached for further details.
