Bio
Sally Oglesby
I loved working with Matt and learned more from him than anyone else I’ve ever worked with. When he told us he was leaving I turned off my webcam/mike and cried. As CEO, he had been a real beacon of light to the team at FISSS during a period of organisational change and several successive Lockdowns. He genuinely cared about the team and their wellbeing, was very astute and read situations and people exceptionally well. All great leadership qualities (but not all leaders have them!).

Matt was my manager at Microsoft in the Citizenship team. He was incredibly supportive of me personally and the Environment Sustainability initiative. He is a strong leader and I learned a lot from him especially his excellent experience in Government Affairs.

The skills Federation exists to represent our members who are groups of employers who have chosen to collaborate on skills in their sectors to create a system that is resilient, flexible, adaptable and able to meet the needs of sectors vital to the economy. We aim to contribute to a skills system that contributes to UK productivity, where everyone can improve their skills at all stages in their lives and which produces the right number of people with the right skills to meet labour market needs. We do this through various programmes research and campaigns including: #keepBritaintraining Show less
