      • A certified Lead Paint Inspector and Risk Assessor since 1997. Delaware’s first State-certified Lead Paint Risk Assessor and Lead Paint Abatement Project Designer. Manager of BrightFields’ Lead Paint business unit. Conducted over 2,000 lead paint risk assessments, inspections, clearances, abatement project designs, and other lead paint evaluations. Supervised and designed lead abatement projects ranging from basic residential lead paint abatement/renovation jobs to complex, multi-million dollar renovation/abatement projects. • Developed training program and serve as Principal Instructor for Lead Paint Renovation, Repair and Painting (RRP) courses. Each class consists of an in-depth classroom presentation, several modules of hands-on exercises and an exam. • Prepared over 300 Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) of commercial and industrial properties. Investigated the operating history of sites, which, in some cases, dated back to the mid-1800s. Identified areas of environmental concern on potentially contaminated properties and made appropriate recommendations for those sites. • Prepared Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasure Plans for facilities throughout the country required by federal law based on the quantity of oil at the facility. The detailed plans include a review of oil storage at a facility, containment/diversion structures and routine procedures for the management of oil storage. Prepared more in-depth Facility Response plans for facilities storing larger quantities of oil. Train site personnel on proper response techniques and procedures. • Managed bioremediation projects. Successfully remediated over 3,000 tons of petroleum-contaminated soil on various sites. Administered the application of microbes, monitored and adjusted soil conditions. Operated heavy equipment and machinery. Collected confirmation soil samples. Obtained site closure from respective state environmental agencies, including an Act 2 site in Pennsylvania. Show less
