Garden City is one of the most profitable Semi private clubs in Asia and has been managed by IMG from the day it opened. In my time there I was responsible for over 200 staff and 9 sub departments within the Golf operation. My main duties were making sure golfers had a great experience, played the course on time, and enjoyed 5 star service from bag drop, through to pro shop and locker room, cart staging area, starters and out on to the course. Maintenance of the cart fleet and caddy training was also a huge part of my role. During my time I implemented a number of SOP’s that supported and streamlined the operation. Revenue was increased in the pro shop through small changes and additions whilst revenue at the driving range also increased 3 fold. As a club we managed to not only stay open during difficult Covid times but actually beat 2018 figures. This was down to maintaining the high service standards consistently. Show less

House of Golf is the premium coaching, club repairs and retailing establishment in the area. It is attached to Manchester GC which is a premier club in Lancashire dating back to 1882, hosting events such as European Tour school PQ1 and Lancashire Amateur events. Developed a strong junior section, bringing 40 juniors from the local area through the Passport to Golf scheme and introduced many new junior golfers to the game. Devised and introduced a series of very popular group ladies sessions, attracting ladies from surrounding clubs bringing membership and green fee opportunities to the club.
