I lead a team of approximately 700 employees across 86 sites and I am responsible for multi - millions in sales every month. During my time in the position I have implemented significant operational and organisational changes leading to an improvement in customer service standards and increased growth in company sales. I chair management meetings, lead on the creation of strategic plans, update the board on progress against key milestones and liaise regularly with key internal and external stakeholders. I also present and communicate company strategy and operational plans to employees across departments as well as to customers as and when required. I ensure I manage all contractual obligations and liabilities in line with terms and conditions while ensuring commercial performance of supply and customer contracts is in line with targets and expectations. I also review the performance of the business across each service and customer group to identify areas requiring attention to drive financial performance while attracting further business. While in this company I was continually promoted within the company from Area Manager, Operations Project Manager, National Operations Project Manager and then Regional Manager While undertaking the role of National Project Manager, I worked closely with a large client to bring the convenience brand to market on Rontec sites which led to being industry recognised and receiving national press coverage. I also oversaw the creation and implementation of a regional project plan to ensure operational capability for the acquisition of 36 new sites. I oversaw 70 retail sites across the South of the UK, leading a team of six area managers who were responsible for 1000 staff. I continually monitored the profit and loss, identifying areas of improvement and incorporating these in order to optimise financial performance. I fully implemented the corporate strategy ensuring this was robust while always encouraging a continuous improvement approach. I also project managed comprehensive change and business improvement projects which included overseeing the design, implementation, and reviewing all aspects of the project while ensuring they were delivered on time, to specification and within budget. I actively encouraged an environment where teams and colleagues shared best practice through regular meetings and groups as part of improving the overall performance of compliance, customer service, and operational efficiency.
