  (Acquired by Paradigm in January 2020) I co-founded and served as CTO of Headnote. Headnote revolutionized how the legal community gets paid from solo attorneys to large law firms. It’s was as easy as PayPal or Venmo but made specifically for the legal industry and always compliant with IOLTA guidelines and the ABA’s Rules of Professional Conduct. Firms using Headnote were paid fast, collected more revenue, and had a higher client satisfaction rate than ever before.   For six and a half years I served as CTO & Co-Founder of Gigwalk, a mobile work marketplace designed to help businesses mobilize people so they can get field work done. We scaled from an initial bootstrapped company in 2010 through three rounds of VC funding to a 36 person team with major customers including Microsoft, Pepsi, Unilever and CROSSMARK. In my role as CTO I recruited and managed both design and engineering teams, as well as functioning as chief architect for the Gigwalk platform which included a highly complex web application and built using backend API server which scaled to serve a global enterprise userbase.
