    • IT Service Desk Analyst
      • Dec 2013 - Oct 2014

As a Service Desk Analyst I was responsible for answering phones relating to any IT problems and responding with a first and second line attempted fix. This position has allowed me to further develop my documentation skills when recording and logging calls within ITSM. This process is one of structure and I ensure it is completed in a timely manner. My trouble-shooting skills have vastly improved via the telephone as this role was not face to face contact with the user, therefore, my listening skills have enhanced and processing the information given is much more succint and efficient. With over 3,000 users, some of which are located overseas, I have had to deal with many different IT related issues, some of which are very complex and are needed to be resolved within a very short space of time.I feel this has improved my ability to complete tasks in an efficient way.

      • Jun 2012 - Dec 2013

As an IT customer support technician, providing support to a vast variety of users in a busy and demanding environment was enjoyable. Due to this busy environment, my time management skills have improved resolving problems and diagnosing faults more effieciently. Working with a variety of users with different knowledge bases has allowed me to both listen and communicate accordingly to their level of knowledge. One vital part of this role was ensuring data protection policies were followed and upheld accordingly including; encrypting mobile devices and supplying users with safe sticks to transport data on as well as allowing people access to their files and folders within their rights.
