I've worked with Matt in a professional setting for over 15+ years. What amazes me most about Matt is over this time period, he has maintained a top notch level of passion, willingness to succeed and must win attitude. I have had great pleasure in working with Matt directly in driving education and messaging with industry media and analysts. He has set the bar in how this should be done as he excels in 'storytelling', shaping industry messaging in a manner that is easily digested and understood, and rallying internal stakeholders to ensure the external messaging is consistent across the organization. His management and leadership skills are another area that set him apart as his strategic mindset is both visionary and one that enables those that report to him to execute full steam ahead. That said, Matt has taken the most complex topics at Qualcomm related to LTE-Advanced and 5G and distilled them down in a manner that the non-technical folks can easily understand. I should also note that he has been at the forefront of engaging the most technical industry analysts - educating them, discussing controversial technology topics and helping guide their research in their right direction. In Matt's time at Qualcomm, he has brought a much needed level of energy that is hard to find anywhere in the industry. My experiences with Matt have been exceptional; his level of support for my activities is top notch and he also takes the time to ensure I fully understand all technologies. In summary, I provide my highest recommendation for Matt as he would be an excellent asset to any organization.
