I worked with Matt on a strategic project for Dywidag. I found Matt to be enthusiastic, diligent and always looking for ways to improve on existing design standards. Matt had the respect of management and his peers and was a valuable part of the project team, allowing the project to move at pace and achieve deliverable dates. If looking to stand up a project team requiring Design Engineer contributions in the future, I would not hesitate to onboard Matt onto the team.

Worked closely with Matt in one of my group projects. The module was Aerospace system Design which consisted of designing and building a fixed-wing aircraft from the ground up. Throughout the duration of the project, Matt was always on top of his workload, ensuring the completion of each objective. He showed great teamwork and amazing skills with engineering software. I personally recommend him for any role within the engineering design sector.

Managed a research and development project reporting to overseas stakeholders and teams in the UK. Additionally, refining and modifying in-house product designs, and improving design functionality. • Redesigned a monitoring load cell and validated it with SolidWorks software. Presented new proposed design to stakeholders in Germany and the UK. • Led research development testing and created a Design Validation Plan and Report (DVP&R). Additionally, the Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) management tool was also considered. • Operated, and assisted test engineers on a high-pressure hydraulic jack system, testing and verifying limit design load capacity for the research and development product. • Collaborated alongside data scientists to analyse the data on the cloud-based service technology, coming up with analytical solutions to different problems. • Liaise with multiple suppliers on material order and ensured quality and precise manufacturer drawing for production.
