Engineering Geologist for a research project entitled as “Probability of Landslides under Multiple Loads: A case study at Devoll Valley, Albania”, developed for the Norwegian company Muticonsult. A novel approach was proposed based on the definition of a Triggering Curve by using Finite Elements Analysis. The methodology was applied to a case study in Albania, where Peak Ground Acceleration due to seismicity and variations in the groundwater level due to rainfall were considered as simultaneous loading factors. The study included fieldwork in Albania, desktop study and FEM analysis, among others. Show less
