Mathieu is a talented and skilled professional and a wonderful guy driven by a true passion for his craft and noble values. He's great to interact with. Having worked with him for three years, I have witnessed firsthand his commitment to reaching the best possible result. He makes himself available for a project, does extensive research and comes up with a number of relevant ideas and concepts. He demonstrates advanced mastery of various techniques, understands what makes an image powerful and brings an acute sense of the overall feeling a picture should convey as well as an attention to detail. Also, he has shown on several occasions a good understanding of sustainability issues, including climate change related topics. I hereby vouch for him without hesitation.

Mathieu n'a pas hésité à participer au projet de Court-Métrage des Compagnons de La Terre avec beaucoup d’enthousiasme. Il a apporté une très grande contribution par ses dessins de haute qualité et nous l’en remercions vivement !

Guest teacher at the HEAJ, I gave anatomy drawing classes to 1st year students during Q1.With my students, I focused on techniques for drawing from observation, as well as notions in the psychology of learning, how to overcome fear & self-doubt, and the practice of art as a professional. In 2021 Q2 I am handling a remedial & support class for 1st year students. I teach various subjects encompassing drawing and visual art foundations, as well as computer graphics techniques. I also help students learn how to study & learn in an effective manner, and help them overcome their fears and the various obstacles they encounter, be it of a psychological or a technical nature.

I worked in-house with Abrakam for 5 months on the online strategy card/board game Faeria during the alpha development phase of the game. I did a few concepts and some illustrations during that time that included card art, character concepts, ingame screen illustrations, an IGM cover illustration. Later in 2013 I did 3 card illustrations as a freelancer. I worked in-house with Abrakam for 5 months on the online strategy card/board game Faeria during the alpha development phase of the game. I was hired by G.I.L.S. to make a comic book intended as a public health promotional tool. I did the scenario, cover art & entire pencil work (inside colours were mostly made by another artist) of the 24 pages book which was distributed for 3 years in various events centered on over-indebtedness. The book relates the story of Emma, a young girl who falls in love and goes in debt due to toxic relationships with her boyfriend & entourage, and how she eventually gets the upper hand in the end thanks to her efforts and the support of good friends, counselors & group therapy.
