Working with Mathias at Castle was extremely rewarding due to his ability to strategically think about B2B sales, customer service, and just about any other facet of the business. While I technically managed Mathias, I consulted him on major decisions more than any other person at Castle. Additionally, his relationships with people at his former employers shows how well liked and respected he is wherever he goes. He also is a quick learner who was able to become extremely proficient and knowledgeable about machinery that he hadn’t had a lot of experience with. His personality along with his technical abilities made him great in both sales and customer service. One of the biggest contributions that Mathias made while I was at Castle was reinvigorating our B2B and dealer network. Our previous efforts at Castle made some of our dealers start to feel less and less important and that was reflected in their sales of our product. When Mathias got involved, our dealers started to feel more like partners than customers and our dealer sales increased dramatically. His ability to manage multiple priorities, communicate clearly, and his understanding of the dealer and customer needs elevated our dealer relationships to a much higher level in a way that benefitted all parties involved.
