      As a business development consultant I am responsible for dealing with and advising clients on what products are most suitable for their project being careful to maintain margin on bathrooms, tiles and kitchen worktops. Furthermore I spearheaded and designed the new marketing campaign which included revitalising the front of the building, designing posters, leaflets, vouchers and the promotion details themselves. In addition I sourced several suppliers for the printing of the exterior pos. I am responsible for all add-on development i.e sourcing relevant products within our margin requirements and that will not only sell but create a more complete shopping experience for the clients. I also was heavily involved with trying to create an efficient warehouse by firstly completing a stocktake, catagorising all the shelving units to aid placement of types of items and to free up space for new items to both widen and deepen our product range. Furthermore I created ,with information from the stocktake and analysis from our epos system, a reduced to clear line which was set in a prominent space within the showroom to aid in reducing down old stock, again to free up spacers for new lines both in the showroom and within the warehouse. Whilst I have been at elite I have negotiated several new credit accounts with new suppliers and re-negotiated previous credit accounts to receive better margins. In addition I design bathrooms for clients including site visits to ascertain the best layout whilst remaining within budget constraints and maintaining margin, I have experience with the virtual worlds cad design programes and have used it effectively to win new business. I have also been called upon to manage the bathroom department and done so effectively.
